The listing is not accurate as this is in an apartment that is being rented out for Airbnb. Even though the apartment building is fairly new, it needs a lot of maintenance. The AC makes a really alarming noise when running that makes it hard to sleep at night. Not sure if the portable AC in the bedroom was so that we didn't have to use the central air. The Wi-Fi was not usable at first, TV remote was out of battery, and there was a lot to do with the checkout instructions. This Airbnb was not worth the stay unless the host really fixes all of these issues.
After booking I found out about the deposit. I paid $100 extra for cleaning and “insurance”. Looked at the reviews to find out they charged everyone else different prices. Checking in was ok but the previous guest took the parking pass so I had to park nearly a 4 minute walk away. Also the Air conditioner wasn’t working in the unit and had to call maintenance to help, was told that they air conditioner in the building wasn’t working and was given a portable air conditioner. Also the wifi in the unit wasn’t working and was helped on the phone by management to fix it. The TV in the living room worked but the bedroom TV didn’t. I was told by management to look it up online to fix. Management wasn’t terrible just seemed over worked and busy. during my stay I would also hear noises coming from the vents, almost like a humming sound. The lights also flickered constantly when turned off in the bedroom. All in all for the price I was charged and the Deposit not worth it.
It’s safe to say Airbnb has lost the plot. This space said in the description that it can fit four people that was a lie. It’s one bedroom and the smallest couch I’ve ever seen. Getting into the building was a hassle to find parking. Parking was free. The internet did not work, and the TV did not work as well. They charge a $75 no-refundable fee on top of the fee booking fee. I really hate how Airbnb allow host to do check-in process outside of the Airbnb app. The AC made this weird noise the whole time. The space itself was very nice but can only fit one or two people that’s it. Before booking please look at everything. I would not book with this company anymore.
